Not been too on top of updating this blog this month - tings have been a bit hectic to say the least. So here's a quick round up:
First up, cheers to the promotors who booked us for shows this month: Toxic Dancehall was awesome - we had an amazing night. Shout outs to Ali, Armin and Ed - shame it was the last one, but what a way to go out! Top night.
Monkey Steak live at Toxic Dancehall:
Last week's Ruffnek Diskotek was also killer. Big up to Distance and Bubonic for their wicked sets in the main room, and to Dub Boy and Forensics for all their hard work making the night happen. With the demise of Toxic, it's good to see Bristol is alive with fresh parties like this one to stand in it's place.
Also a couple more radio plays this month for "Shocking Out Proud":
6th December 2005 - Second airing by Mary Anne Hobbs on the Breezeblock (Radio 1).
10th December 2005 - Played by Mr Trick on Rhythm Incursions (Resonance FM)
NB: Release date for the "Sweaty Palms" twelve has been put back now to Monday 16th January 2006. Ideal from my point of view cos I'd rather get christmas out the way first!

The Dudes EP (Shadetek) tracks by Tame One, Para One, ZestRock! & Atki2.
dSWAT have even got a few copies of Grim Dubs Vol. 1 in for those of you who missed out the first time ;)
Putting the finishing touches to a new Atki2 12" EP for Werk Discs - prelim. title being "Guilty Pleasures EP". New Atki2 edits, with the title track featuring vocals by Indi Kaur. The a-side will include my original mix and a remix by Pinch (Tectonic/Subloaded). The latter is absolutely blinding and I believe pops up in a recent mix by Joe Nice.Check!
Monkey Steak: Our new grim cut "Dirty Madge" will feature on a mixtape put out by the guys at Slit Jockey records. Big up Dev79 and Starkey! Also features exclusives and dubplates by Kano, Riko, Ghetto, Vex'd, Drop the Lime, and many more. To find out more, click 'ere innit.
